We can spray tan your whole body or just even out tan lines. Airbrush spray tan offers you a summer glow without the harmful UV rays from our Las Vegas sun. This is perfect for events, interviews or a pre vacation tan.
What is airbrush spray tan?
A trained technician will from Stevee Danielle Hair and Makeup will spray the tanning chemicals that contain dihydroxyacetone. This causes a reaction to the amino acids in the dead layer on the skins surface. This is what causes the browning effect. It will take 6 to 8 hours to fully develop. You can expect the airbrush spray tan to last between 7 to 10 days.
(great for special event, bridal partys, birthdays, interview, etc.)
How to prepare for your spray tan appointment.
The night before you want to exfoliate to remove any dead skin. This will help prevent a spotting and help the spray tan last longer. Shave or wax at least 8 hours before your tan appointment. Wash off your makeup if you want your face. Makeup will act as a barrier and will cause the spray tan to come off when you wash the makeup off. Same goes for moisturizers. Put your hair up in a clip to keep your hair out of your face or neck. Lastly wear dark baggy clothes. The bronzer may rub off on your clothes but will wash off. Its important to let your artist know if you are pregnant or menstruating as this WILL affect the tan if we do not apply a solution.
Follow these steps to ensure a successful airbrush spray tan experience.
After your spray tan appointment
Don’t take a long hot shower or bath. After you shower from your spray tan pat yourself gently with a towel to dry. Don’t scrub. Apply moisturizer twice daily. This will help your skin from drying out and fading the tan. Chlorine from pools or spas can also fade the spray tan.
Tan for your Wedding!
A few things to take into consideration on your big day. Of all the times you have gotten a spray tan this is the most important one so if you dont normally follow the preperation steps for the spray tan now is the time. We do have the velocity tan that develops in a couple hours but if you can its always better to do it the day before.This way if by any chance there is any streaking the artist can cover it on the day of. See if the groom or the bridal party wants a tan for the photos. We have had brides tell us that they looked great but in the photos everyone else looked pale compared to them. Remember those photos last forever
